Although each person is different, the student body as a whole drew many parallels to each other the year. Together, the school struggled ou a millage renewal that finally passed on September 21. Students hung orange ribbons on mailboxes and trees, and even on themselves to show the impor- tance of finishing the school year. Many students also showed support by going to the forum that the Times Herald held at the Saint Clair County Community College. "The forum was quite up- setting because so many people were ignorant to the facts. So many people were voting no when they had no idea what the PHASD needs were all about," said Hillary Hoxsie ('94). Athletes continued to go for the by maintaining winning records. The Varsity Football Team started off the season with a 7-6 vtctory over Marysville, the former state champs, followed by a 21-0 win over cross town rivals PH. The Women's Tennis Team proved victorious the season. Even the tough times team spirit and motivation served as pieces of while captains and other team members cheered their teams to victory.
