remarks: Fruits elongate, 4cm long, lcm wide,
semi-conical with inverted apex, wrinkled as if
compressed longitudinally, waxy yellow, piquant. Seeds
light yellow. Fruit appearance suggests a caterpillar,
hence the appellative "gusano." Popular table condiment,
pickled in vinegar. Landrace. Seed.
