scholastic athletics within New Jersey communities is such an important part of the fabric that makes up
our Orthopaedic practice. New Jersey has the reputation of producing some of the best student-
athletes in the country and we, as an organization, couldn’t be more proud of the association with
NJSIAA wrestling.
Rothman Institute has served the greater Philadelphia area for over 45 years and continues to expand
into new markets throughout the region with the goal to cover the entire state of NJ by the end of 2017.
We strive to provide the communities we serve with the most high quality, compassionate, and
affordable musculoskeletal care that is grounded in evidence-based medicine, the results will exceed
expectations. Our practice has 24 locations and 2 Orthopaedic only Urgent Care centers – located in
Marlton, NJ and Limerick, PA.
In addition to our extended partnership of NJSIAA High School Wrestling for the next several years, we
are also the official team physicians of the Philadelphia Eagles, Phillies, Flyers, Sixers, PIAA Wrestling and
over 50 regional high schools and colleges / universities including the NCAA Basketball Champions –
Villanova Wildcats.

Mission Statement

The NJSIAA, a private, voluntary Association serves its student-athletes, members schools and related
professional organizations by the administration of education-based interscholastic athletics, which
support academic achievement, good citizenship and fair and equitable opportunities.

We believe that member schools, along with their leagues and conferences, share these convictions:

• A safe and healthy playing environment is essential to our mission.
• Participation in interscholastic athletics enhances the educational experience of all students.
• Interscholastic athletics is a privilege.

• The NJSIAA is the recognized state authority on interscholastic athletic programs.
The NJSIAA is composed of 435 member high schools. It provides more than 270,000 student-athletes opportunities to
participate in nearly 3,000 games, workshops, clinics and other NJSIAA-sponsored activities within a given year. The
NJSIAA offers more championships for its student-athletes than any other state in the nation:

For Boys: Cross-Country, Football, Soccer, Basketball, Bowling, Fencing, Ice Hockey, Swimming,
Diving, Indoor Track Relay Championships, Indoor Track Individual Championships,
Wrestling, Baseball, Golf, Lacrosse, Outdoor Track Championships, Tennis, and
Volleyball.

For Girls: Cross-Country, Field Hockey, Gymnastics, Soccer, Tennis, Volleyball, Basketball,
Bowling, Fencing, Swimming, Diving, Indoor Track Relay Championships, Indoor Track
Individual Championships, Golf, Lacrosse, Softball, and Outdoor Track Championships.

Competitive athletics is nothing more than playing according to a set of
rules. Sports are the greatest example on earth of the practical application
of the Golden Rule. Your support and encouragement of our high school
sports program are earnestly invited.

Group I Shore Regional High School – 54 points
• First in Girls Tennis, 1st in Field Hockey, 1st in Girls Soccer, and 1st in Central Group I Football, plus 3 points
for having no disqualifications in the winter season, 2nd place in Girls Lacrosse, plus 3 points for having no
disqualifications in the spring season.

Group II Haddonfield Memorial High School – 97 points
• Tied for 3rd in Girls Tennis, 2nd in Boys Cross-Country, 3rd in Girls Cross-Country, 2nd in Field Hockey, 3rd in
South Group 2 Football, 2nd in Boys Winter Track Relays, 1st in Girls Winter Track Relays, 1st in both Boys
and Girls Winter Track, 2nd in both Boys and Girls Public Group C swimming, plus 6 points for having no
disqualifications in the fall and winter seasons, 3rd place in Boys Tennis.

Group III River Dell – 64 points
• Third in Boys Cross-Country, 4th in Girls Cross-Country, 1st in Girls Volleyball, 2nd in North I Group III
Football, 1st in both Boys and Girls Winter Track, plus 3 points for having no disqualifications in the fall
season, 1st place in Boys Spring Track & Field, plus 3 points for having no disqualifications in the spring
season.

Group IV Ridge High School – 62 points
• Second in Girls Tennis, Tied for 1st in Girls Soccer, 1st in Girls Cross-Country, Tied for 3rd in North II Group
IV Football, 1st in Boys Fencing and 3rd in Public A Group Ice Hockey, plus 3 points for having no
disqualifications in the fall season. 2nd in Girls Golf, plus 3 points for having no disqualifications in the spring
season.

Group A Christian Brothers Academy – 165 points*
• Second in Boys Soccer, 2nd in Boys Cross Country, 1st in Boys Winter Track Relays, 1st in Boys Winter Track,
1st in Boys Swimming, Tied for 3rd in Wrestling, 2nd in Ice Hockey, plus 3 points for having no
disqualifications in the winter season, 2nd in Boys Golf, 3rd in Boys Tennis, 1st in Boys Spring Track & Field,
plus 3 points for having no disqualifications in the spring season.
