It will give you a better grasp of the concept. While solving questions, if you get stuck, do not look for solutions directly. Try solving it yourself, make mistakes and then correct them. Problem-solving skills and the correct approach to cracking questions for clearing exams are not going to come to you magically. It's a slow and steady process. Keep trying until you crack the question yourself. Getting answers to questions is something which is expected in exams, so make it a habit. Mock tests and PYQs are the key Make sure to attempt partial mock tests after completion of a topic and full-length mock tests after syllabus completion. PYQs are the best study material for JEE. Analyse your weak points and work on them. Keep getting a little bit better every day. These small steps will make a big difference. If you have solved previous 20 years papers of JEE Advanced, then you have completed 90% of the work required for getting into Ills. Be organised Study a chapter and keep your core concepts clear. While studying, make sure to make notes and write down important formulas. This will not only be useful while revising, but will also help you remember them better. Don't rely only on PDFs. Write down all the important points and include proper illustrations in your notes. Date them and keep a track of which topic Kailash Sharma IIT Patna Alumni Top Unacademy Plus Educator (5 years), Ex Resonance Faculty (4 years), Ex Bansal Classes Faculty (2 years) can be found where. Consolidate all past year JEE questions subjectwise and chapter-wise. JEE Mains vs Advanced-The dilemma Most students think of preparing for JEE mains first, then after clearing it, moving on to preparing for JEE Advanced. But the truth is, the preparation for these go hand in hand. If you have prepared for JEE Advanced properly, then you are well prepared for JEE mains, and even for your Board Exams. The syllabus for both exams is the same. It is the complexity of the questions and the core conceptual clarity that makes them a little bit different, which can be mastered with consistent practice. Segregate The Syllabus Divide your syllabus into monthly and weekly segments and assign yourself practical targets to achieve. Spend more time on your improvement areas, while not being over confident and ignoring the topics you're good at. Maintain a balance. Selfevaluate regularly.
