SAINT JOSEPH'S COLLEGE RENSSELAER, IN 47978 PHASE VOLUME 55 2000-2001 BECAUSE WE ALL WANT TO KNOW WHERE TO GO EROM HERE! OPENING e 1 SlllllC...You*re on Candid Camera! 2 SJC Students Kick Off Year with Fun - Filled, Traditional Activities... by Melinda Burdan Throughout the course of first semester, many different groups, clubs, and organizations held several activities. Of course, this year’s main event was Fall Fest 2000, which required several hours of strategic planning. While most of SJC’s attention was focused on Fall Fest, first semester also showcased many other activkies. SUB continued to sponsor several comedians and more big screen movies. In conjunction with Cup O’ Joe, SUB also brought many more coffeehouse performers to the St. Joseph’s College campus. The annual Little Sibs Weekend proved to be an exciting weekend on campus as always. Campus Ministry continued to support the annual fall camping retreat, which was followed by a Chili supper at Lake Banet. Student Development offered off - campus excursions for those of us who aren’t able to leave campus often. These outings satisfied everyone from the sports fanatic to the more conservative, theater goer. One of the complaints most often heard on campus is that there is nothing to do, but with all of the activities being sponsered on and around campus, it is very hard to believe that there is nothing to do here!
