The study analyzes 24 cost categories for 33 typical oil and gas wells in 12 geographic areas of Western Canada. This year’s study incorporates the latest trends in the drilling and completion of wells. Three areas have been highlighted to reflect the growing use of horizontal drilling techniques. Due to the ongoing changes in the area of drilling activity, many of the previous years wells have been replaced. This study also reflects the growing costs associated with the increasing concerns for the environment and safety. Enhanced printing and graphics presentation will make the study easier to follow and a valuable tool in your analysis of this sector of the industry.
