The attendee should gain insight into the principles of patient‐centered medicine, and understand some of its ethical aspects. The view point of the patient will be discussed and also some tools to measure patient‐centredness and quality‐of‐life aspects of infertility and its treatment. Some examples of current projects and concepts in this field will be discussed. Finally fertility awareness will be addressed and its relationship with preconceptional counseling and care.
