Neuromolecular aspects relating to gene polymorphism and epigenesis, involvingbothheritablechangesinthenucleotidesequence,andfunctionally relevantchangestothegenomethatdonotinvolveachangeinthenucleotide sequence, leading to respiratory disorders will also be tackled. COPD alone causes more than three million deaths globally each year.
