C ATA L O G U E J U LY – D E C E M B E R 2 0 1 8 Greetings from Osprey! As we all know, 2018 is a very significant year as it is the centenary of the end of World War I. Although there is no longer anyone alive who fought in ‘the war to end all wars’, its legacy lives on in our modern world and it still exerts a strong hold over our collective consciousness. Osprey has an unrivalled range of books on World War I, from the campaigns themselves, to studies of the soldiers, sailors and airmen who fought in it, as well as their weapons, vehicles, uniforms and equipment. We have put together a selection of these titles on pages 8–9. This year also marks our 50th anniversary, an achievement of which we are very proud. Who would have imagined that those first few books would now be part of a list of over 3,000 titles, more than 70% of which are still available. To find out more about the promotions we shall be running to celebrate our 50th anniversary, please contact [email protected] Many of our bestselling and most popular authors have new books out in the second half of 2018, including Andrew Wiest, Christian Jennings, Jeremy Black and Prit Buttar.
