(1) Under the plenary powers the specific name marmoria Hutton, 1901, as
publishedinthebinomenDrosophilamarmoria,isherebysuppressedforthepurposes
ofthePrincipleofPrioritybutnotforthoseofthePrincipleofHomonymy.
(2) The name hydei Sturtevant, 1921, as published in the binomen Drosophila
hydei,isherebyplacedontheOfficialListofSpecificNamesinZoology.
(3) The name marmoria Hutton, 1901, as published in the binomen Drosophila
marmoriaand assuppressed in(1)above, isherebyplacedon theOfficialIndexof
RejectedandInvalidSpecificNamesinZoology.
