Kowalevskyin Brock(1883).
(2) Itisherebyconfirmedthatauthorshipofthespecificnamehystrix,aspublished
inthebinomenLepidomeniahystrix,isMarion&KowalevskyinFischer(1885).
(3) Undertheplenarypowersallpreviousfixationsoftypespeciesforthenominal
genus LepidomeniaKowalevskyin Brock, 1883 arehereby set asideand Lepidomenia
hystrixMarion&Kowalevskyin Fischer, 1885isdesignatedasthetypespecies.
(4) The name Lepidomenia Kowalevsky in Brock, 1883 (gender: feminine), type
species by designation under the plenary powers in (3) above Lepidomenia hystrix
Marion&KowalevskymFischer, 1885,isherebyplacedontheOfficialListofGeneric
NamesinZoology.
