ON THE INDIAN SPECIES OF TRICHOMALOPSISCRAWFORD (HYMENOPTERA CHALCIDOIDEA PTEROMALIDAE) : : P.M. SURESHAN2ANDT.C.NaRENDRAN3 (With thirty-seven text-figures) Key words: Chalcidoidea, Pteromalidae, Trichomalopsis new species The Indian species of Trichomalopsis Crawford are reviewed. These include T. apanteloctena (Crawford) and T. deplanata Kamijo & Grissell and six new species T. acarinata sp. nov., T. nigra sp. nov., T. ovigastra sp. nov., T. thekkadiensis sp. nov., T. neelagastra sp. nov., and T. travancorensissp. nov. A keytotheIndian speciesofTrichomalopsisis also provided. Introduction after the petiole and the last before epipygium. The followingabbreviations arealsoused: OOL Trichomalopsis Crawford, a species-rich -Ocellaroculardistance;POL-Posteriorocellar genus of Pteromalidae, is best known from distance; SMV - Submarginal vein; MV - Europe and North America.
