She’snotfromTrinidad,though–it’sasmallisland,Stsomething orother–I’mnotsure.Ididn’thearitverywellthefirsttimeshe mentionedit,andnowit’slikeit’stoolatetoask.She’salwaystrying tofattenmeup–shefeedsmeconstantly.Therestofthefamilytalk aboutsportsandGodandpolitics,andCarlenefloatsaboveitalllike akindofangel–andshe’shelpingmewithprayer.Shereallyknows howtopray–andit’sverycooltobeabletopraywithoutsomeone inyourfamilycomingintotheroomand(a)passingwind(b)shouting (c)analysingthe‘phoneymetaphysics’ofprayer(d)singingloudly (e)laughing.
