NOTIFICATION
The 7th September, 2016

No. 21354–HUD-13-WSS-61-SCH-17-25/2016/HUD.— Government have been
pleased to constitute a Technical Committee to review the proposals / Detailed Project
Reports (DPRs) for Urban Water Supply Projects of PHEO and recommend the most
appropriate location for intake point for drawal of water for the piped water supply projects.
(i) Er. P.C. Rath, EIC, PHEO (Retd.) - Chairman
(ii) Chief Engineer, PH(U) - Member
(iii) Representative of IIT-Bhubaneswar (Department - Member
of Civil Engg.)
(iv) SE, PHEO concerned - Member
(v) SE, Water Resources Dept. having jurisdiction - Member
(vi) EE, PHEO of the respective division - Member
(vii) EE, Water Resources Dept, concerned Division - Member
(viii) SE, Design, PHEO - Member-Convenor

2. In the first phase the Committee will review the DPRs prepared by PHEO for
Balasore, Bhadrak, Nilagir, Soro, Biramitrapur, Rajgangpur, Nuapada, Rambha, Khalikote,
Kabisuryanagar, Polosara, Belapahad, Sorada, G-Udayagiri, Atabira and recommend the
most appropriate place for locating intake point for drawal of water. The Technical
Committee will also review any other project / proposal requested by Engineer-in-Chief,
PHEO in this regard.

3. The Office of the EIC, PHEO shall service the Committee and all expenses
relating to conduct of meetings, payment of honorarium to unofficial members and
organising field visits if any shall be borne by the EIC, PH Odisha from their own budget
for preparation of DPRs.
4. The sitting fee of the private members may be borne by the PHEO out of its own
budget as decided from time to time.
5. The Notification shall be applicable from the date of its issue.
