NOTIFICATION
The 6th January, 2016
S.R.O. No.42/2016.— In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 6 of the
Odisha Entry Tax Act, 1999 (Odisha Act, 11 of 1999), the State Government, having been
satisfied that it is necessary so to do in the public interest, do hereby direct that the
Scheduled goods, i.e., one Instron Model 300DX Microprocessor controlled Dual Test
Space Static of 300 KN Capacity, which would be procured by the Indira Gandhi Institute
of Technology Sarang, Dist.-Dhenkanal from AFS Logistics International Pvt. Ltd.,
Diamond Chamber, 4 Chowringhee Lane, Kolkata and shall be used for Scientific
Research and Development of the students and faculties, shall be exempted from levy of
tax under the said Act on its entry into the local area subject to condition that the Director,
Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology, Sarang shall furnish a copy of the Certificate, in the
pro forma as appended to the Finance Department Office Memorandum No. 36246/F.,
dated the 20th October, 2012, duly signed by the Authorised Officer of that Office, to the
Officer-in-charge of the concerned check gate and another copy of such Certificate shall
accompany with the consignment during transit.
