NOTIFICATION
The 1st January, 2015
S.R.O. No.02/2015(cid:326) Whereas the area described in the Schedule to the notification
of Government of Odisha in Housing & Urban Development Department No. 27152/HUD.,
dated the 23rd December, 2014 is specified as a ‘transitional area’ and in notification No.
27156/HUD., dated the 23rd December, 2014 constituted the said transitional area as
Champua Notified Area Council with effect from 23rd December, 2014 for the first time.
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section
423 the Orissa Municipal Act, 1950(Orissa Act, 23 of 1950), the State Government do
hereby appoint the Sub-Collector, Champua as Administrator, who shall exercise the
powers discharge the duties and perform the functions of the Champua Notified Area
Council that of its Chairman in addition to his own duties, until a Council is constituted for
the said area in accordance with the provisions of the said Act.
