The 31st December 2008
No.15874—II-24/2008-L—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 3
of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 ( Act 49 of 1988), the State Government do hereby
appoint the Additional District and Sessions Judge, Sambalpur in the Judgeship and Sessions
Division of Sambalpur to act as the Special Judge (Vigilance), Sambalpur to try all offences triable
by Special Judge (Vigilance)under Section 4 of the said Act, committed under his jurisdiction and
investigated by the State Vigilance Organisation in the event of absence of the Special Judge
(Vigilance), Sambalpur.
