No. 9/2009—In pursuance of the powers conferred under Clause (b) of Section 3 of the Orissa Education Act, 1969, read with 3, 4 and 5 of the Orissa Education (Payment of Grant- in-Aid to High Schools, Upper Primary Schools, etc.) Order, 2004 and subsequent amendments thereof, the State Government do hereby notify the following 10 Private Girls’ High Schools similarly situated with 100 Notified Girls’ High Schools to receive Grant-in-Aid (Block Grant) w.e.f. the 1st April 2008. The quantum of Block Grant to these Girls’ High Schools shall be the amount representing the revised scale of pay of the emoluments of the teaching and non-teaching employees of such Girls’ High Schools with Dearness Allowance @ 11% i.e. Pay in revised scale of pay plus Dearness Pay plus Dearness Allowance @ 11%. The Director, Secondary Education, Orissa before release of actual Block Grant shall scrutinize the eligibility of the said Schools as to whether these private Girls’ High Schools fulfil the criteria as per G.I.A.
