The Orissa G a z e t t e EXTRAORDINARY PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 177 CUTTACK, FRIDAY, JANUARY 18, 2008/ PAUSA 28, 1929 COMMERCE & TRANSPORT (COMMERCE) DEPARTMENT NOTIFICATION The 5th December 2007 No. 9700—FE (Port) -53/2007-Com.—Consequent upon formation of Directorate of Ports and Inland Water Transport vide this Department Resolution No.10153/Com., dated the 27th November 2006 and redesignation of the post of Deputy Director , Inland Water Transport as Executive Engineer (Mech.) , Ports and Inland Water Transport, North Division, Cuttack, vide this Department Office Order No. 2454, dated the 20th March 2007, and abolition of the post of Joint Director, Inland Water Transport vide this Department Government Order No. 2907-Com., dated the 7th April 2007, The Inland Vessels (Grant of Certificate of Competency to Engineers and Engine Drivers ) Rules , 1989, issued vide this Department Notification No. 1940, dated 21st February 1989 is hereby partially amended against the existing Rules as indicated below. This Notification will come into force from the date of issue.
