ORDER
The 12th January 2006
No. 114—Ele.(GP)-1/2006–SEC.—Commission had issued programme for holding by-election
to the office of Chairman of Bhapur Panchayat Samiti vide Order No. 4475, dated the 31st
December 2005.
The Hon’ble High Court on the 3rd January 2006 have passed interim order in W. P. (C)
No. 14363 of 2005 and Misc. Case No. 14235 of 2005 thatstatus quo as on date with respect to the
office of Chairman, Bhapur Panchayat Samiti in the district of Nayagarh shall be maintained till the
next date.
Now, therefore, the Commission has been pleased to direct that by-election to the office of
Chairman of Bhapur Panchayat Samiti shall be postponed until further orders.
