The second annual Rouge-a-
Palooza will return to Goudy Park
and the Rouge River from 12-10 p.m.
on Oct. 11.
Fun on the river will start with

the Logjam Classic Canoe Race. Reg-
istration begins at 9 a.m. with the
race at 10 a.m. There will also be
canoe and kayak rentals available to
cruise the Rouge. Kids will enjoy
building a paper boat and racing it
down the river while the rubber
duck race will start with yellow rub-

river from the bridge above on
Wayne Road.
The event will feature the live
music of George Bedard and the
Kingpins, Corndaddy, Troublesome
Creek and Tyronne Hamilton.

river to flow freely and provide for
recreational opportunities like ca-
