The European Microwave Week (EuMW) has evolved into the
premier microwave conference and exhibition event in Europe. The
centrepiece of the Week is the European Microwave Conference
(EuMC), the largest of the 3 conferences that form the Week. It
is complemented by the European Microwave Integrated Circuits
Conference (EuMIC) focusing on semiconductor device and circuit
technologies, and the European Radar Conference (EuRAD),
targeting the field of radar, from components to applications.
The success of EuMW is also a result of the collaboration with
the IEEE MTT Society (technical co-sponsor of the Week) and the
GAAS Association (co-sponsor of EuMIC). But the Week is not only Wolfgang Heinrich
conferences, the Exhibition forms an integral part of EuMW, which President

Preparing and hosting the EuMW is a major effort, from the paper
submission and review to the on-site organization in the conference

The theme this year is "Space for Microwaves". This indicates that
there will be ample space for microwave subjects during the Week,
which goes without saying. But this will also include "microwaves
for space". Because of the close links to the European Space
Agency, with ESA/ESTEC located not far away, an emphasis will be
