Thank you, Dodson Mrs. “I used to go to her office like three times a week, and whenever I did, she would always take the time to sit down and talk with me when she didn’t really have to,” says senior Brandi Brewer. On a daily basis, Mrs. Dodson handles an average ofseven to twelve student conferences. She is actively involved in the High School Advisory Committee, the High School Reorganization Committee, and search committees. Senior Christine Simoneau says, “She’s always in a good mood, with open arms to help you. Even when you’re behind deadlines, and make stupid mistakes, she’ll always be glad to lend a hand.” Mrs. Dodson is also responsible for completing the guidance counselor’s statement on college applications. As ofJanuary 6, 2002, she had completed 322 of these forms. Despite her busy schedule, she is always available for the students. One high school student says, “No matter what happens, and in spite of any adversities... she [always has] a big heart.” For all that you have done...and all that you have yet to do. Thank you, Peggy Dodson. — Irwin Jose "Thank you for filling out all those senior forms and working so hard for us." - Rebecca Yang "You care so much about your students and getting [them] what they need. Thank you for keeping calm under pressure." - John-Michael Jacobs "Thanks for all the college applications you filled out & got in on time & al.l the other hard work you do! - Donna Dean 2 Dedication .
