The co-editors wouldaccordinglyliketothankalloftheconferenceparticipantswhomadethe conferenceagreatsuccessandthisvolumepossible. As this congress was held under the auspices of the Friedrich-Nietzsche- StiftungandtheNietzsche-Gesellschafte.V.,sinceregratitudeisduetotheseso- cieties and to the members of their scientific boards: Christian Benne, Marco Brusotti, Helmut Heit, Enrico Müller, Renate Reschke, Corinna Schubert and Andreas Urs Sommer. Since the physical location of the congress was the Nietzsche-DokumentationszentrumandtheNietzschehausinNaumburg,special thanks goes to Dr. Ralf Eichberg and his staff for their excellent organization andleadership.
