tra, Java and Sulawesi (K>BDID & GG:HH>II, 1979; L6NH, 2000). However, the record from
BorneoisprobablybasedonthoseofGD:8@:(1934,1936),whoplottedtherecordedpointsof
thisspeciesonhisdistributionmap(p.216in1934,andp.288in1936). Accordingtothemap,
thepointfromBorneoissituatedontheIndonesianportion,so-calledKalimantan,thoughhedid
notmentiontheexactlocalityinthatregion. ProbablythereforeMD=6B:9H6>9(2004)didnot
recordthisspecies fromBorneoinhiscatalogue ofthe Malaysian Chrysomelidae.
In this short paper, we confirmed the occurrence of this species in the Malaysian part of
Borneoas follows:
