New England Watercolor Society Prospectus for the 2013 Signature Members Show at the Guild of Boston Artists February 2 - February 28, 2013 MA Location: The Guild ofBoston Artists, 162 Newbury St. Boston, 02116 Hours: Tuesday - Saturday 10:30 am - 5:30 pm, closed Sundays and Mondays Opening Reception Saturday February 2, 2-5 pm. AWS Juror: Cindy Baron, www.cindvbaron.com Awards: $1500 in awards including Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals. Guidelines: One painting per signature member. All work must be entirely original, on paper and done with only water-soluble media (collage with no other media is acceptable). NO class work or work done under a teacher’s supervision, no computer-generated work, prints, copies orwork shown in any other NEWS exhibition is eligible. All work must be framed under Plexiglass. Entry Fee: Non-refundable entry fee is $30 by check only (Payable to the New England Watercolor Society) submitted at time ofdelivery. Dues: Paintings will be accepted only from paid up members. Dues may be paid at time ofdelivery. Delivery: Tuesday, January 29, 12 noon -4 pm at the Guild, 162 Newbury Street Boston. Alternative drop offlocations and times may be scheduled by contacting Dawn Scaltreto at 617-319-1901. Pick-Up ofWork Not Selected: During gallery open hours. Pick-Up ofSelected Work: Friday, March 1, 10 am - 12 noon, Saturday, March 2, 10 am - 12 noon. Sales: 40% commission on all sales. ALL WORK MUST BE FOR SALE. Gallery Sitting: There is no requirementto be a gallery sitter, however, we are seeking volunteers at selected times to represent the New England Watercolor Society. Sitters are reimbursed $20 for parking expense. Liability: The Guild ofBoston Artists and New England Watercolor Society cannot assume responsibility for work submitted for exhibition.
