We provide alistof21 newamphibian and reptilian species andsubspecies discoveries fromVietnam, includ- ing one new snake genus, published after the comprehensive overview by Nguyen et al. (2009). The new herpetofauna representatives are introduced inclusive ofthe original description, type locality, English andVietnamese names, aswell as current distribution. Key words.
