It is composed of 180 lessons to be taught over a period of 36 weeks. Each lesson is designed for one class period. Before the start of each unit there is a page stating the unit topic and how many lessons are in each unit. Every fifth lesson is a review lesson which should be taught on the Friday of each week. Alongside this text book there is a series of big books which are to be used with the review lessons. These books are thematic and address the topics of each unit. The layout of the teacher's book is different from previous teacher's books. The left hand page includes notes and instructions for the teacher while the right hand page shows the corresponding page from the student book.
