Purpose. Reference (a) established the Naval Aeronautical Organization (N190) as the primary source of planning information on current base loading of the aeronautical shore activities of the Naval Establishment. It includes a detailed presentation of the various naval aviation programs appearing in the Basic Naval Establishment Plan (BNE:P). The NAO is published semi-annually and contains information corrected to 1 Januar:? and 1 July of each year. 2. Review and A~proval. This publication has been reviewed and approved in accordance w i t h16 of 2 Nov 1960. 3. Cancellation of Previous Publication. OPNAV NOTICE PO5400 Serial 01190P50 of 1 July 1960 is cancelled by this Notice anti will be destroyed by burning. No re,port of destruction is necessary. 4. Corrections. Addressees are requested to notify the Chief of Naval Operatjons (Op-501) of any errors or omissions. It is further requested that the Commanding Officer of each station review that portion of the base loading section pertaining to that station and forward a revised edition, reflecting the 1 July 1961 situation, to this office by 1 June 1961. If the data is unchanged, a report indicating no change should be submitted. 5. Classification and Downgrading. The security classification of this publication and all previous editions is automaticallv downgraded from Confidential to Unclassifiec five (5) years from the date of issue on the letter of promulgation. This action is in accordanc'e with section 3, chapte~4 of OPNAV Instruction 5510.1B. Upon downgrading, this pilblication will be marked "FOR OFFICIAL USE ONLY". 6. Cancellation. This Notice will be cancelled upon receipt of the next issue of the Naval Aeronautical Organization and for record purposes on 30 September 1961.
