My Dear Nasirat and Nasirat Secretaries,

Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatahu

“Surely, this Qur’an guides to what is most right; and gives to the believers
who do good deeds the glad tidings that they shall have a great reward”
(17:10).

Welcome to the Nasirat Program and Workbook for 2015-2017! We hope and pray
that our Nasirat enjoy the new program and find this workbook useful.

The Nasirat program is designed to provide girls aged 7-14 with a comprehensive
learning environment that will develop their religious knowledge, personal, and
social skills. Insha’Allah, these skills will become an excellent source of guidance
and inspiration for them as they progress in the realm of Lajna Ima’illah.

The Nasirat program lays out the topics that should be covered during each quarter.
This quarterly program is a guideline, which has been developed to help you
monitor your goal to complete the syllabus. Each Nasirat secretary can cover the
material in the way that would most benefit the Nasirat. In addition to what each
quarter outlines, each Majlis can feel free to incorporate any topics and activities
that would be beneficial to its Nasirat.

The Nasirat team prays that you find this workbook beneficial. If you have any
questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me for assistance, I hope and pray
that our young girls will be steadfast in their faith and be a fruitful addition to the
community, Insha’Allah. May Allah enable us to be good role models for our
young girls, Ameen. Jazakumullah.

Goals
 and
 Tips
 for
 the
 Nasirat
 Program

Goals for the Nasirat Program:

• Increase relationship with Allah (Taqwa)
• Improve on religious knowledge
• Use Islam as a complete code of life
• Incorporate Islam in our daily routine
• Develop creative and fun activities to help strengthen the bond of sisterhood
amongst Nasirat
• Accountability
• Create a loving atmosphere of open communication with honor, respect, and
obedience between Nasirat and their secretaries
• Develop a sense of importance and respect for Nizam-e-Jama’at and Nizam-
e-Khilafat
• To gain knowledge using the Holy Qur’an, Ahadith and resources provided
by our Jama’at
• Get involved in the community!

Tips for the Nasirat Program:

• Be mindful of the type of environment we create
• Maintain an environment conducive to learning
• Encourage the Nasirat to do their very best
• Teach about various offices in the Jama’at and their responsibilities
• Welcome all Nasirat
• Use visuals when possible
• Remain open-minded during discussions
• Allow Nasirat to freely express their questions and concerns

following space to set goals for yourself. There is no goal that is too small. Throughout the year,

Condition of Bai’at # 1

“That he/she shall abstain from Shirk,
(association of any partner with God) right up to the day of his/her death.”

Condition of Bai’at # 3

“That he/she shall regularly offer the five daily prayers in accordance with
the commandments of God and the Holy Prophetsaw; and shall try his/her
best to be regular in offering the Tahajud (pre-dawn supererogatory prayers)
and invoking Darood (blessings) on the Holy Prophetsaw; that he/she shall
make it his/her daily routine to ask forgiveness for his/her sins, to remember
the bounties of God and to praise and glorify Him.”
