R. R. 1817 (1818), p. 302), which has publication Stewart (Ranunculaceae) based on Ranunculus priority over Ficaria glacialis Fisch. ex DC. kamchaticus DC. is reported here as having (De Candolle 1824, p. 44), the basionym of priority over Oxygraphis glacialis (Fisch. ex DC.) currently accepted name Oxygraphis glacialis. Bunge based on Ficaria glacialis Fisch. ex DC. A careful check of the online nomenclatural and hence the correct choice as accepted name at database (The Plant List 2013) revealed that, the species rank. though Oxygraphis Bunge is correctly accepted as a distinct genus, as supported by molecular Ranunculaceae genus Oxygraphis Bunge phylogenetic analyses (Emadzade et al. 2010), (1835, 1836) is represented by six species the type species of the genus, O. glacialis is distributed in Afghanistan, Bhutan, China, India, listed as a synonym under the accepted name Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Nepal, Pakistan and Ranunculus kamchaticus DC. which needs, as Russia. Of these, Oxygraphis tenuifolia W. E. per ICN code (McNeill et al. 2012), placement Evans (1921) is endemic to China (Wang et al. correction under the genus Oxygraphis as 2001), O. kumaonensis I. D.
