Verifythatallsafetyprecautionsaretaken.
Allrearpanelconnectionsmustbemadewiththeunitturnedoff,andmustbe
performedbyqualifiedpersonnelwhoareawareofthehazardsinvolved.Improper
actionscancausefatalinjuryaswellasequipmentdamage.

HAZARDOUS VOLTAGES
Allmodelsgeneratevoltagesabove60VDC,withsomemodelsratedatupto1,500
VDC!Ensurethatallinstrumentconnections,loadwiring,andloadconnectionsare
insulatedorcovered-sothatnoaccidentalcontactwithlethalvoltagescanoccur.
SHOCKHAZARD
TurnoffACpowerbeforemakingrearpanelconnections.
Ensurethatanyresidualvoltagespresentatthe+and-outputterminalsare
dischargedbeforetouchingtheoutputterminals.Tofullydischargetheoutput
terminals,momentarilyconnectaDVMratedat1,000VDCbetweenthe+output
terminalandground.Repeatthisprocedureforthe–outputterminal.
DonotusethisDVMonunitsthatarepoweredONwithvoltages>1000VDC.
