Description:What is the state of multicultural education in child care centres in Western European countries, and what should multicultural education in these centres look like are two questions addressed in this book. Answering these questions is important for the improvement of the quality of education in child care centres. The situation in the Netherlands was taken as the main case. Situations in eight other Western European countires (England, Scotland, Denmark, Sweden, Germany, Belgium, France and Spain) were studied as well.
