The Class of 2020 arrived to or r F campus bright and early for check-in. They immediately got D P to meet their O-group leaders and fellow classmates. O- his group leaders made sure to give their O-babies a warm g t n welcome and even shared some laughs. Bonds were nti pri definitely formed that morning. The day began with an m o Orientation Welcome hosted at Mary Chapel by Dr. Jane d fr Lingua, Vice President for Student Affairs. She posed a cte question to Class of 2020, "what will you do while at the stri e Mount?" She made them think about the opportunities that y r will come their way and how to believe in themselves. plicitl x President Ann McElaney-Johnson also spoke to the students e e and gave them advice for how they should carry themselves ar s in our Mount community. She also invited everyone to come ok o b up to her and introduce themselves and in doing so try to ar e make a lasting impression. In the evening, students got to Y h relax and enjoy an outdoor movie with their friends. On ort w the second day of activities, students got to meet with their als W advisor's and register for classes. They also attended n workshops that were provided to inform students about ha programs and opportunities the Mount offers. In the er t h afternoon, the Alumnae "Mugging", a Mount tradition, took s ot place and the Class of 2020 got to pick out their own nter MSMU mug with a personalized note from a Mount Pri alumnae. Their mug was then filled with ice cream and soda DF - P to create a root beer float, which was perfect to fight offof o the heat. At the end of Orientation, everyone gatherperd a into Mary Chapel to have a final prayer service.
