We are offering nearly 1600 bred Angus heifers in this sale, of which 1100 are AI bred. 901 heifers are carrying the service of the great TC Franklin 619, 96 have the service of FF Dempsey Y11 and 100 carry the service of Sitz Dash. We also have nearly 500 head of heifers pasture bred to low birthweight sons of Franklin, Dublin and Extra X sons purchased from Vermilion Ranch. These heifers all carry their original irons only. They will be as fancy a set of bred heifers as will sell in America this fall. They have been through several sorts for kind and disposition. We are selling the front end of over 2000 head. We’re also very proud of our 1700 plus cows offered in the sale. There are nearly 1250 head of two coming 3 year olds, 325 head of 3 and 4 year olds and 100 head solid and broken mouth cows. These cows are fertile and weaned a fancy 93% calf crop. We’re also extremely proud of the bulls they are bred to. If you come early, we would love to run you out to the ranch and show them off. They are bred alike and all come out of the Vermilion Ranch program. All of the females have been ultrasounded by Dr. Ralph Miller, the best in the business, and will be sorted and sold in tight, uniform calving groups. I have grown up, lived and breathed the livestock business all my life. Our family has made a living in the ranching and livestock merchandising business, and we have also had the opportunity to feed a lot of cattle. Over the years, one thing has become crystal clear - if you are going to make it as a cow-calf producer, you better have a set of cows and calves that look alike, that have some genetics, gain and performance bred in them. I like to call these cattle “PROGRAM” type cattle. The females in this offering are the real Montana “PROGRAM” kind! Linda and I would like to say “THANK YOU” to all our family and friends who have helped us over the past year getting ready for this day. Without their help and support, we would never be able to get done what we do. Again, thank you for your interest. Good luck with your purchases. Remember, we stand behind this set of females 100%!
