Once school begins in August, MHS students wish the Christian Fre1den, Josef summer had stayed forever. Summertime is when most Pautsch, Kai Knipper, Jack McNeil, and Robert Schnieder adventures take place. Some Moline students spent their summers on school trips to Paris, Madrid, England, and Italy. Some students played their favorite sports, while others sat in the nice summer days reading their favorite novel. With summer, there are endless possibilities--for a few months anyways. Summertime not only allows for students to have time off from a long, stressful year of school, but summertime is also when students are able to make lifelong memories with their friends. Going to concerts, going to Europe, hanging out on the river, spending time relaxing, or going to tennis matches let students have fun with the people that matter most. MichelleAnn Sanchez went to Europe this summer with choir and says, "The two weeks in Europe were amazing! I finally got to see Big Ben; he's beautiful! I definitely want to go back!" During summer, the students of MHS can choose between just hanging out with friends in town or getting out of Moline to experience a new adventure. Either way, summer is a time to create some of the most important memories with our families and friends. 6
