As many other abilities, it could be mastered only by practical writing, publicizing, andholdinglectures.Ourannualinternationalstudents’conference “ModernAnalyticalChemistry”,isoneofthewayshowPhD.studentsofanalytical chemistry could cultivate their presentation and communication skills. The conferencewasestablishedin2004,andfromthattimeitisnotonlyaforumfor the presentation of achievements in the field of analytical chemistry by PhD. studentsfromvariouscountriesbutalsonicesocialevent. This volume of the conference proceedings involves fifty one contributions, whichwerepresentedatthe13thyearofconferenceon21st–22ndSeptember, 2017.Thecontributionsareassortedbythesequenceoftheirdelivering,sothe detailedindexeshelptoreaderinorientationbythenameofauthor(s)orbykey- words. The13thconferenceisoneofthemostsuccessfulyearsoftheconference,asit wasattendedby60participantsfromsixcountries.Wehope,thattheattentive reader will find published contributions interesting and will be assured that – thankstonewgenerationsofanalyticalchemists–analyticalchemistryistrendy, multifaceted, steadily developing science with new, unsuspected ways of its innovation and application. And this is what makes the organization of this meetingveryfulfillingandsatisfactory. WeareverygratefultotheDivisionofAnaly- tical Chemistry of EuCheMS for auspices of our conference this year. Also, all sponsors are cor- dially thanked, not only for their kind financial sponsorship, but also for their continuous sup- port and cooperation in many of our other activities.
