Dear Governor Parson,
It is with great honor and humility that I report that your Missouri National Guard continues its tradition of
being a well-trained, well-staffed and a highly skilled organization, capable of supporting the citizens of
the great state of Missouri and our nation. Though the year 2021 presented many challenges, our Guard
responded to each challenge head-on as part of a greater team of state, national and international part-
ners.

As the COVID-19 pandemic continued, the Missouri National Guard worked with our interagency partners
from the state of Missouri, as well as our national partners from the active duty Navy, Marines and the
Federal Emergency Management Agency to best protect our citizens from the impacts of the virus. The
Missouri National Guard mobilized mass vaccination teams, targeted vaccination teams and adaptive
vaccination teams across the state, while supporting the FEMA Community Vaccination Center at the
Edwards Jones Dome in St. Louis with a Dual Status Command. Under the leadership of your office, and
together with our partners in the Department of Health and Senior Services, the State Emergency Man-
agement Agency, the Department of Public Safety and others, the Missouri National Guard assisted in
providing vaccines to 441,000 Missouri citizens.
Alongside our vaccination assistance efforts, the Missouri National Guard continued providing assistance
to Missouri food banks, community testing, warehouse support, data entry and call center operations. In
total, the Missouri National Guard mobilized 2,115 Missouri Guard men and women in support of the state
response to the COVID-19 pandemic this year alone. We could not be more proud of our efforts to assist
our fellow citizens in their time of need.
In addition to our efforts in the COVID-19 response, our Guard team mobilized around the country to sup-
port our fellow Guard men and women in both Washington D.C. and the state of Louisiana in response
to mutual aid requests. In Washington, the Missouri National Guard provided 300 Soldiers to support the
D.C. National Guard and local law enforcement as part of a National Guard-wide effort to provide secu-
rity to our nation’s capital region. In Louisiana, the Missouri National Guard mobilized over 300 Soldiers
to provide post-Hurricane Ida relief in the form of humanitarian support, equipment, debris removal and
general assistance.
Lastly, our team continued to train and deploy in support of our federal mission. Our Guard members
ensured the health of the force and supported deployments around the globe to U.S. Central Command,
U.S. European Command, U.S. Africa Command, U.S. Southern Command and U.S. Northern Com-
mand. Alongside this effort, our National Guard supported multiple subject matter expert exchanges with
our Panama state partners, building upon our strong and enduring relationship with that country.
As always, I am honored to serve as your Adjutant General and proud of the achievements of our great
National Guard team. This report will showcase the accomplishments of our Citizen-Soldiers and Airmen
over the last year and reinforce that fact that your Missouri National Guard is Always Ready, Always There.

Administration 28 Administration consists of 28 employees among the Adjutant General’s
Office, State Resources Director, State Resources Financial, Human
Resources, Purchasing, Archives, Museum, Tuition Assistance, Veter-
ans Recognition Program, Cafeteria, and the Mailroom.
Environmental 19 19 employees that provide three types of environmental actions, in-
cluding compliance and corrective projects, environmental services,
and program management. They are responsible for providing a safe
environment for employees.
Facilities 101 Facilities has 101 employees throughout 15 locations across the state.
Those locations include AVCRAD, Chillicothe, Clark, Crowder, Farm-
ington, Fort Leonard Wood, Ike Skelton Training Site, Jefferson Bar-
racks, Kansas City, Macon, Moberly, Poplar Bluff, Rolla, Wappapello
and Whiteman Air Force Base.
Information Management 9 Two distance learning, seven information technology.
Military Funeral Honors 38 Funeral Honors has 38 state employees throughout 10 locations in
Missouri. Those locations include Carthage, ISTS, Jackson, Jefferson
Barracks, Kansas City, Rolla, Springfield, St. Joseph, Warrensburg and
West Plains.
Security 47 1 Anti-Terrorism, 1 Emergency Management, and 45 Physical Secu-
rity employees who are responsible for providing security to facilities,
equipment and personnel statewide.
