● ~10,000 ­ The First City falls.
○ The Great Flood. Caine believes this was punishment for returning to the world of mortals.

○ The Second and Third Generations created a great multitude of Progeny against Caine’s
restrictions. The youngest Generations rose and slew their Sires, drinking their blood.

● 200 ­ Due to the Setites manipulations the Roman empire starts to tear itself apart. [Cb­S, p17]

The 4th Century
● 300 ­ Montano (Lasombra) makes one last attempt to salvage Clan Lasombra’s treasure "Rome"

● 325 ­ Ventrue forced Emperor Constantine to call the Nicaean Council, but were unable to

● 361~363 ­ Three Lasombra wanted to discover the nature of the Obtenebration Discipline. Using
fey blood and "blood of Zeernebooch, a god of the underworld" it transformed one of the three

The 5th Century
● 410 ­ Roman influence over England all but dies. [WoD, p10]

● 439 ­ The Kiasyd bloodline breaks away from the Lasombra Clan and disappears for nearly 1000
years.
● 476 ­ Rome falls to attacking barbarians due to the efforts of the Brujah.
The 6th Century
● 500 ­ The beginning of the dark ages.
● 541 ­ Bubonic Plague hits Europe.
● 594 ­ The Bubonic Plague ends after killing half of Europe's population.

The 7th Century
● ~600 ­ Mayan society suffers a period of decline.
○ ­ Due to the collapse of the Roman Empire, some Toreador elders slip into torpor, hoping
to awaken in another time of debauchery and excess. [VTDA, p89]
● 632 ­ The prophet Muhammad dies. [WoD, p68]
● 636 AD ­ The Assamites defeat the Baali at Chorazin. before their demise, the Baali manage to

The 8th Century
● 754 ­ The Cainite Heresy was uncovered and declared anathema, due to errors made by a group
in Ostia. But by now, the Cainite worship was to extensive to destroy. [VTDA, p48]
● 771 ­ Charlemagne begins to form his empire.
● 793 ­ The first recorded Viking raid on England takes place off the Northumbrian coast. [WoD,
p11]
● 794 ­ The Path of Lilith was supposedly developed by Hukros (Gangrel). [DSotBH,p65]
The 9th Century
● 800 ­ Charlemagne is crowned emperor of all Europe by Pope Leo III.
● 812 ­ Clan Ventrue reached and apex of power with Charlemagne when the east and west
Ventrue reunited after the Roman Empire split. [Cb­Ve,p20]
● 848 ­ The Magus Tremere was narrowly prevented from taking control of the entire Order of

● 879 ­ The Cainite Heresy worship has become formalized. [VTDA, p48]
The 10th Century
● 900 ­ The Toreador started to lose control of Byzantium to the Brujah, leading to Byzantium

flourish.

The 11th Century
● ~1000 ­ For the first time the whole of England was under the control of a single ruler, Cnut the

○ Geneveve Orseau (Toreador) was a major leader in the Jyhad between the Toreador and

● 1005 ­ Augustus Giovanni embraced by Cappadocius.
● 1021 ­ Goratrix captures an elder of Clan Tzimisce, forces him to turn his two apprentices into
vampires, and then kills him. He takes his apprentices back to his Chantry to experiment.
● 1022 ­ Tremere, Etrius, Goratrix, Meerlinda are turned into Vampires [Cb­Tr, p16] [VTDA, p90]
○ Sascha Vykos (Tzimisce) embraced. [CotN,p24]
● ~1022 ­ In­fighting among the new vampires grows so high Tremere is forced to Blood Bond the

Chantry after Chantry fall until Goratrix perfects the Gargoyle and tells them to "...go forth

● 1066 ­ Edward the confessor dies in England leading to war. [WoD, p12]

The 12th Century

● 1116 ­ Shaitan arrives in Mexico and takes control of the Aztecs.
● 1133 ­ Tremere discovers the havens of several sleeping Antediluvians. He chooses and drains
Saulot (founder of the Salubri). Tremere also begins to slip in to Torpor lasting weeks or months.
He tells the Council to organize the House. They do and divide the world then known among

● 1143 ­ Helena embraces Melinda Galbraith (Toreador) who will become the Cardinal of Mexico.
● 1153 ­ Ambrosio Luis Moncada (Lasombra) was Embraced. [CotN,p27]
● 1198 ­ Several Cainites are summoned to Buda­Pest by their sires, and instructed to scout out
the territory surrounding Tihuta Pass. By winter, a fortress is erected there with Myca (Sascha)

The 13th Century
● ~1200 ­ Clan Toreador helped start the Italian Renaissance. [Cb­To,p14]
○ A Tremere composed a short work on daemonology titled Nominis Inferni from excerpts of
an ancient Sanskrit fragment titled Naaman’h raakShasa. [BM,p63]
○ It is said that the Inquisition started with a Toreador being angered by another Toreador’s

● 1201 ­ Pope Innocent III calls for the Albigensian Crusades.
● 1205 ­ Goratrix infiltrates the Church and takes control of it. He uses it to destroy enemies of the
Tremere. The Council decides that Goratrix has overstepped his bounds and calls him before
them. Goratrix runs away and hides after his power is taken away and given to Mistridge. [Cb­Tr,

○ First Anarch movement starts due to Inquisition killings, because Elders sacrificed their

● 1209 ­ The Path of Cathari becomes a Path of Enlightenment.

The 14th Century
● ~1300s ­ During the middle of this century the Black Death appeared, causing more distrust
amongst the kindred as the Tremere had only just arrived. Most of the 9th & 10th generation
kindred in London die, due to feeding on tainted kine. Mithras takes advantage of this and
captures the head of the Tremere Chantry to make an example of him. [WoD, p19]
● 1300 ­ The Mound­builder empire declines.
● 1313 ­ The Inquisition winds down. The Society of Leopold takes up the slack.
○ The Templars are denounced for heresy. [VTDA, p241]
● 1331 ­ The Aztecs begin to build their empire. Shaitan orders the deaths of all shape­shifters
found through out Mexico.
● 1348 ­ Petrodon (Nosferatu) is embraced by Cristo. [Anar, p86]
● Mid 14th century ­ Danislav revenants used a dark gift to overthrow Count Florescu and take
control of his fiefdom. [TbN,p158]
● 1349 ­ The Eastern Lord Ventrue vainly try to set up a number of Saxon princes as part of
another council. Many are killed; some are eaten; all are abused. [TC1,p103]
● 1356 ­ Xaviar (Gangrel) was Embraced. [CotN,p91]
● 1371 ­ Jaroslav Pascek (Brujah) was Embraced. [CotN,p43]
● 1381 ­ The peasants revolt takes place in England. [WoD, p16]

● 1394 ­ Meerlinda, along with the Ventrue Hardestadt, propose a league of vampires. No one

Younger conceals the death and begins to impersonate his sire. The story is circulated that
Hardestadt the Elder survived Tyler's attack. Only a select few of Hardestadt the Elder's progeny

● Late 1300's ­ Djuhah (Assamite) sent several powerful Mediterranean elders to their final graves

The 15th Century

○ Clan Tremere lost both the original and the single copy of Nominis Inferni to agents of the
Inquisition. Believed the Inquisitors destroyed them until they heard rumors that at least
one copy was in the hands of an infernalist in Central Europe. [BM,p63]
○ Johann Kloepfer (Tremere) wrote Das Tiefe Geheimnis translated "The Dark Secret" it
contains the foundations of Thaumaturgy along with the most common rituals and paths.

Descendants from Goratrix, these rogues seek protection from the Tremere within the ranks of
anarchs. In the 16th century, when the Sabbat forms, the Tremere antitribu are cursed (much like
their sire Goratrix) with the mark of the traitor magically branded on their foreheads. Through
invisible to normal sight, the mark is instantly noticeable by any non­Sabbat Tremere. [TC2,p112]
● 1472 ­ A gathering of Cainites meet in Hermanstadt to discuss the "Dracula problem." At the
charge of Count Radu of Bistritz Vlad Tepes is brought to him and then it is decided the
antediluvian Yorak (TC4,p14) will Embrace him. [TC2,Act I]
● 1476 ­ Tired of years of slavery and oppression, the Gargoyles revolt and declare their freedom.

○ Most European Malkavians disappear for a number of months around this time. When
they return, the Camarilla (which constitutes the vast Majority of the clan) Malkavians
have Dominate instead of Dementation. The specific date is of great debate amongst
Malkavians who place its date anywhere from 1490 to 1500.
○ First Justicars of the Camarilla were the Inner Circle members led by Ventrue Hardestadt
include Brujah Adana de Sforza, Gangrel Milov Petrenkov, Malkavian Camilla Baines,

● 1496 ­ The signing of the Treaty of Tyre, Assamites vs Camarilla. [Cb­A, p16]
○ Most Assamites accept the 'Tremere' curse, creating two sections of the clan, the 'cursed'

The 16th Century
● 1000s ­ The first attempts at European Colonization in North America are made by the Norse at
L’Anse Aux Meadows. Skirmishes between the Native in the area and the Norse began shortly after
the arrival of the Northmen, and ultimately the Norse were driven out of their settlement, never to
return.  There are rumours that these battles were directed by the Lupines and Magi who lived
amongst the Native Peoples of North America against an invading force of Kindred, but no specific
Kindred or Clan have ever been substantially tied to these rumours.
● 1500s ­ Councilor Meerlinda working through mortal Dr. John Dee, encouraged British exploration of

○ The Path of Power and the Inner Voice was claimed to be created by a Lasombra named

● 1500 ­ Attacks in Spain and Transylvania against the Camarilla begin, and are attributed to a new
sect named the Sabbat. The Sabbat Wars last throughout the 16th and 17th Centuries

● 1504 ­ First Justicar election ­ Brujah Targin, Gangrel Griga, Malkavian Lethe, Nosferatu Anachriss,
Toreador Lenore Braundice, Tremere Holtz, Ventrue Democritus [A&T,p34]
● 1517 ­ Luther's 95 theses set up things for the Christian Reformation.
○ Second Justicar election
● 1519 ­ Cortes arrives in Mexico with 600 men, a cannon, Helena, Quetzalcoatl, Motolina, and
Bernardino. Motolina is Blood Bound to Helena and will eventually change his shape to match that
of Helena's. Cortes claims Mexico for Spain, with the help of Helena and Quetzalcoatl. Shaitan call
to his masters for help. They answer by spawning the Pandemonium. Helena find Shaitan in Torpor
and is scared away. She runs north. Helena leaves behind one of her Progeny, Galbraith, who
becomes the Prince of Mexico City. Shaitan takes control of Galbraith.
● 1520 ­ A revolt kills 400 Spanish and the Aztec empire is reestablished.
○ Clan Giovanni Embraced the first Pisanob into the Clan. [Cb­Gi,p30]
● 1521 ­ Hernan Cortes returns and retakes Mexico in 75 days. He brings with him weapons, the
Inquisition, and the Sabbat. The Sabbat recruit Galbraith.
● 1526 ­ Hunedoare Castle falls to the forces of Vlad. [WoD, p59]
● 1528 ­ Vlad Tepes joins the Sabbat.
○ Franscico Pizarro conquers the Incans.
○ Winter ­ Claudius Giovanni signed a formal agreement guaranteed Giovanni nonintervention
in all Kindred affairs (known as The Promise of 1528.) [Cb­Gi,p16]
● 1529 ­ It is whispered that the masterful Fabrizio Ulfila arranged to have the Catholic church come to
Vienna’s defense against the Turks resulting in their defeat and safety of Clan Tremere. [TC3,p21]
○ Tzimisce strike at the Camarilla. Assamites help with the siege of Vienna. After a year the
