accessories. Just as important as the cable. Since 1995 GT Elektrotechnische Produkte GmbH develops, produces and sells cable-accessories, techniques and mounting supports for reliable cable connections. Our competence is worldwide appreciated – for good reasons: our quality management and our research for new technical and economical solutions give us the opportunity to offer you products which create a standard in their field. The history of our company is short. But successful! 4 GT Cable accessories up to 36 kV Low voltage Telecommunication Medium voltage 1995 In the foundation year we had been concentrated in building up offices and production. Our name was quickly found: GT is the German abbreviation for “cable-accessories”. 1996 Our first development on the market: A range of cast resin joints with a lot of space for splicing. Our customers like it till now. We started our production with a computerized bag filling system for cast resin. 1998 GT-quality-management-system was certified according to DIN ISO 9000. 1999 A new range was created: Medium voltage - heat shrinking products. 2000 GT developed their own equipment for producing heat-shrinking tubes and produced their first wall ducts. 2002 GT had to increase production area because of increasing demand. 2003 The company offered their employees an old age pension because of well-establishment. 2004 GT moved into a new, modern building. Production area increased by more than 1500 sqm. 2005 Development and introduction of new range of cast resin joints type GT 10 – GT 13. 2006 Introduction of new, proprietary GEL technique in the market. Foundation of a company in Romania together with partners. 2007 Build up of a test laboratory for cable accessories according to DIN EN 50 303. GT Cable accessories up to 36 kV 5 GT ... certainly the better connection Product training Quality and characteristics of products are only useful by a system-compatible application. We train our employees and customers again and again with modern methods. This is our way of succeeding a high level of safety by advising our customers in mounting of our products. Quality In order to guarantee customers’ confidence constantly we proof systematically all materials delivered to us as well as products we deliver. Regular internal and external quality audits confirm high standard of our processes. Laws and instructions are changing constantly. In October 2008 a new European standard will be valid: “Method of tests and test requirements ... (1,2 kV)“ for cable accessories for distribution cables with a nominal voltage of 0,6/1,0 (1,2 kV). This new European standard DIN EN 50 393 will replace the old national law DIN VDE 0278-623. We make tests with our test laboratory according to DIN EN 50 393 and create a reliable documentation of test cuttings. Recycling We care and encourage ecological handling of resources. 6 GT Cable accessories up to 36 kV Professional support service We inform you competently about our products and their applications.
