He has extensive experience in tourism-relatedprojectsandhasworkedasanexperton EU funded projects (ERDF MED, INTERREG). Most recentlyhehasbeenenrolledasaresearcheronHorizon 2020SmartCulTourproject.HeisamemberoftheIUCN World Commission on Protected Areas (WCPA) and TourismandProtectedAreasSpecialistGroup(TAPAS Group, and Europarc Federation). He currently serves as an associate editor for the Journal of Ecotourism (Taylor & Francis). The primary areas of her scientific interest are the economicsoftourism,theroleoftourisminregionaland urban development, destination strategic management and planning, visitor management strategies, cultural tourism. She wrote a number of scientific and profes- sionalpapers,reviews,conferencepapersandscientific- professional studies. As a guest lecturer, she attended professional conferences and seminars, postgraduate studies, as well as international conferences and semi- nars.
