The District is among seven other Long Island School Districts to receive that rating level. The impact will not only effect the EXCEL bond, but also the $72 million in bonds that will be issuing over the next few years. Bond counsel did not give specific savings as it is impossible to determine the exact amount, but the estimated interest savings will be $50-100,000 less per year over the life of the bond.
