The award was presented by the Furnishing Industry Association of Australia at a Gala dinner held at the Victorian Arts Centre. Daniel won the 2007 Andrew Kossenas Victorian Furnishing Apprentice of the Year award as well as the Mathews Timber Carpentry apprentices on-site with Brendan Bertram Award for best cabinet maker.
