Many of the farms have their own brochure, which will give you a more detailed picture of their activities and seasonal events. Agri-tourism is fast growing trend in agriculture that merges the world of travel with the experience of farming and your food and fiber production and , offers you an enjoyable, insider's view of agriculture. During your visit, support your local farms by purchasing seasonal, sun-ripened, fresh fruits and vegetables. Many farms also offer a wide variety home-baked goods, fine fruit preserves and one of a kind craft items. Many farms also host company outings and birthday parties. Your purchases help insure that local farms will remain in business for manyyears to come.
