Mr. Jarchow was hired by the Marysville School District as Band DireCtor for the High School in 1978. Shortly after coming here, the Junior High band was started under his direction. For the past five years he had coached the Quiz Bowl Team. He died in June of 1993 after sixteen years of service to the Marysville School System. Mr. Jarchow was an enthusiastic, energetic man with a cheerful smile.
