SICK analyzers successfully monitor fue gas scrubbers which remove, for exam- ple, SO2 from marine diesel engine exhaust gases. SICK analyzer systems also measure other components such as CO, NO, NO2, CO2, H2O, NH3, O2 and CH4 in exhaust gas from gas turbines and boilers before and after catalysts or gas scrubbers. SICK also of- fers solutions to measure the volume fow of gases, such as ex- haust gases, and natural gas as a fuel. This may be during cargo loading and unloading, as well as to determine the amount of fuel injected into an engine.
