in three columns (English Translation, Transliteration of Malayalam
Version in English script and Malayalam Version) is provisionally
accepted by the Episcopal Synod for use and publication.
I am glad that you find it useful and that you wish to publish it.
I hope that this publication will make the Liturgy accessible to our
members who do not know Malayalam especially our young people.
We are glad that the initiative was taken by the members of the
Melbourne Mar Thoma Parish in publishing the Liturgy in this
manner.

PREFACE
The Mar Thoma Liturgy in three column format is developed
by the Melbourne Mar Thoma Parish to enable our members who
grew up outside Kerala, especially our youth and children, to
participate meaningfully in our Holy Qurbana service. This three-
column liturgy has been in use at the Melbourne Parish for more
than a year and has made considerable improvement in the
participation of the congregation in our Sunday services. We are
happy to publish this three column liturgy with the view of sharing
this with other Mar Thoma Parishes. We thank The Metropolitan
and The Honorable Synod of Mar Thoma Church for their
encouragement and blessing for this publication. We want to
acknowledge the efforts of many of our members, especially Tom
Thomas, Ashok Jacob, Mammen Mathew, Mexy Mammen and
Eugene Thomas who contributed long hours in preparation of three
column liturgy.
