Management International Review © Gabler Verlag 1991 Vol. 31 - 1991 MANAGEMENT INTERNATIONAL REVIEW 1991 Vol. 31 INDEX TO CONTENTS EDITORIAL POLICY MANAGEMENT INTERNATIONAL REVIEW is a refereed journal which aims at the ad- vancement and dissemination of international applied research in the fields of Management and Business. The scope of the Review comprises Strategic Management and Business Policy, Internationa! Business and Transnational Corporations. MANAGEMENT INTERNATIONAL REVIEW stresses the interaction between theory and practice of management by way of publishing articles, research notes, reports and comments which concentrate on the application of existing and potential research for business and other organizations. Papers are invited and given priority which based on rigorous methodology, suggest models capable to solve practical problems. Also papers are welcome which advise as to whether and to what extent models can be translated and applied by the practising manager. Work which has passed the practical test of successful application is of special interest to MIR. It is hoped that besides its academic objectives the Journal will serve some useful purpose for the practical world, and also help bridging the gap between academic and business management.
