Just like Jane Austen's Emma, Lady Rebecca Cavendish has been matchmaking in her small Gloucestershire village since the age of fourteen. As far as she’s concerned, she knows more about love and romance than most people. With three successful marriages under her belt, she sees no reason to pause her endeavours when her mother insists on a London season. After all, in London there must be many more people who require the services of a matchmaker.
Almost upon arriving in the capital, Rebecca zeroes in on the Marquess of Camberry. Tall and well-built with a smile that makes Rebecca's heart pound, the handsome lord would be a fine match for any lady. She puts all her efforts towards making a match for the Marquess. But just when success is in her grasp, Rebecca realizes she has made a fatal error. She has fallen head-over-heels in love with the handsome Lord. Now Lady Rebecca must turn all her matchmaking skills towards the most unlikely client: herself.
