No. RGN-2018/3432/C.R. No. 325/M-1.— In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of section 78 of the Registration Act, 1908 (XVI of 1908)(hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), in its application to the State of Maharashtra, and of all other powers enabling it in this behalf, the Government of Maharashtra hereby amends the Table of Fees prepared under section 78 and published under the Government Notification, Revenue and Forests Department, No. RGN.1558/67731-N, dated 17th July, 1961 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Notification”) for registration of instruments and publishes the same as required by section 79 of the said Act, as follows, namely:— In the said Notification of the Table of Fees, in Article-I, after Note 65, the following shall be added, namely :— “Note 66 :— No Registration fees shall be chargeable on the instrument of lease for thirty years of a plot of land bearing No. CTS/FP No. 501, 502 and 1495 of Mahim Division along with Mayor’s Bungalow (the structure standing thereon) admeasuring 11551.01 square meters, between the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai and Bala Saheb Thackeray Rashtriya Smarak, a public charitable trust registered under the Maharashtra Public Trusts Act (XXIX of 1950), in order to facilitate construction of ‘Bala Saheb Thackeray Rashtriya Smarak’ on the said property.” By order and in the name of the Governor of Maharashtra, PRITAMKUMAR V.
